Check on your planters. If 1st 2” of soil is dry then H20 deeply - till you see H2O drain from bottom of container. Plants on the edges dry out the quickest as do small pots. If your planters are on irrigation you may still need to top them off.

Now go pour yourself an iced tea and admire your work. Peace out.

#1. Look for any of new plants that may have molded and died off from all that rain. Go ahead and gently pull them out. So early in the season the planter still has loads of time to fill in
#2 fertilize! All that rain has likely leached out all the nutrients if you planted last month. Always good to fertilize when soil is moist!
