The natural, the wild and the slightly wacky inspired us this week at wholesale Market @americasmartatl

Each year we go to discover what is on trend, what our clients will see in stores & interiors, to purchase for our own designs (& of course Christmas) and to catch up with designer friends from around the country. It’s loads to take in, our feet hurt and it’s slightly crazy.

What popped for us;
1. botanical elements - across a lot of design - Yay!
2. saturated colors
3. Kokedamas - moss tied plants, JRB has been creating these for years (stay tuned for what we already have on the bench for you back at the studio)
4.🫣Iridescent lighted holiday statues; bucks, Santas, giant skeletons (spoiler - we did not buy - but it did make us stop and smile as weird as it was)
5. Preserved dried materials - yay!

When daytime temps are below freezing or we have freezing rain - these are things we would do
1. H2O containers thoroughly
2. Bring inside - IF you can safely lift small pots or subscription inserts - bring just inside the front door on a towel or in the garage
3. Cover - slide sticks just inside the outer edge of container, wrap a sheet (never plastic!) and clip to sticks
you can bring in your smaller container

When it’s this cold (26’F here in the Southeast last night) we love to see what’s thriving (and also what’s not). When plants get good sun exposure and temps stay above freezing during the day it can be a game changer. (❄️When temps go below Freezing during the day we cover).

A 4 season subscription makes a beautiful living gift all year long. Homes & businesses across Atlanta enjoy our planter inserts delivered each season.

Pick your sun exposure, buy one of our containers, or use your own, start your gift subscription. Winter inserts will not be avail after tomorrow. Spring season deliveries will begin ~3/25.

These little home made botanical wreaths make great napkin rings for your holiday table or buffet. I clip lavendar & rosemary sprigs from the garden, twist together and tie off with a ribbon to create a wee wreath which I slide over the napkin.The smell is fantastic
